Intelligent, yet innocent middle-school student Owen Norris is curious to break out of his sheltered bubble. Owen soon meets a successful Congressman, Lawrence Connor, and befriends his young nephew, Caleb. Lawrence is impressed with Owen's intelligence and wit and takes him under his wing. Intrigued by the unpredictable world of politics, what starts out as a fun summer job turns into a rude awakening as Owen is immersed into a cutthroat, secret world.

Okay. I wanted to like this film, cuz the director and me are about the same age and I like suporting new filmmakers. But holy crap how did they ever get that guy from WINGS? it was waaaaaay long and pretty the lead guy wasn't very good. and the gay part of it kinda creeped me out, not that i'm a homophobe cuz i'm not, but it just didn't seem reael. and it was pretty cynical in it's politics. congrats to them fpor getting it made, i just hope there next one is better.
