When Charlie (Brendan Hines) meets Daphne (Malin Akerman), the girl of his dreams, he didn’t plan on having to compete with her dog for her affections. When it seems the battle has been lost, something magical happens that he never expected – Charlie begins to fall in love with the dog and realizes he never really needed a girlfriend – all he needed was “man’s best friend”. When things start to go bad, Charlie scrambles to keep the relationship going ... just so he can keep spending time with Babydoll.
