Jacqueline McGlade, and three of her colleagues from the European Environment Agency have chosen to be part of an extraordinary journey in East Greenland. They travel from their offices in Copenhagen to participate in a multisport adventure race, where they are challenged through 250 kilometers of Arctic wilderness. During their journey they encounter the effects of climate change first hand and meet eye witnesses to the impact of the Arctic environment. The Inuit are some who are directly impacted and are in the middle of an environmental challenge that will change many parts of their culture as well as the rest of the world’s.
