In a post 9/11 era, sudden death and destruction haunt Americans. The massive influx of immigrants into America-- some of whom may wish to do us harm, has been a growing concern among citizens. Los Angeles is a magnet for every dream the human heart can imagine. This reality attracts The Seekers to come. Seekers come in many forms. Who do we trust?

Hidden behind the headlines in this Presidential election year about immigration issues are stories about those who have to deal face-to-face with the bureaucrats who have to deal wih their own problems and prejudices. "The Seekers" illuminates such stories with an engrossing, "Crash"-like entwining of several stories of the struggles of immigrants to have a chance to pursue the American Dream. This fine independent film, though fiction, absorbs you into its look at reality.
