A sexy, romantic comedy that explores the adult film industry through the eyes of an idealistic film school grad. After a year of unemployment, Jody is faced with the hard decision of taking the only well-paying industry job she can get – editing porn at Grind Productions, a profitable adult film company. Things get even more complicated when Jody is forced to work for Jeff Drake, the charming director of erotic movies. What follows is Jeff and Jody’s unlikely and heated pairing – as they work together, they fall in love, and their classic battle of the sexes plays out against the provocative back-drop of the adult film business.

I saw this film at the Slamdance Film Festival and found it to be one of the better ones out there. It is edgy, funny, while still serious. Dealing with a young film maker trying to get her film made by sneaking into an adult film studio where she works, it has the heart and soul of what most romantic comedies out there lack. I laughed, I got a little choked, and I laughed again! The cast was uniformly superb and well casted. It was fast moving, deftly directed and edited, and showed the human underbelly of the adult film industry in a very clever way. Highly recommend this film.
