Newport Beach Film Festival 2009

This documentary travels inside America’s heartland to find a burgeoning movement of farmers, thinkers, and business people who are actively re-thinking our approaches to raising and distributing our food. Featuring some of the most inspiring and promising stories of alternative agriculture, this film searches for a movement to find alternatives to how we are presently feeding the planet. The premise of both this film and its outreach campaign is that with greater awareness and knowledge, we can become more active participants in shaping the future of the planet – simply by rethinking the food that we choose to grow, buy, and eat.
