Newport Beach Film Festival 2009

Here we have a window into the realm of the nearly departed. It plunges the viewer deep into the passage of time between the twilight years and the great beyond, that to which we all ultimately journey. Set on the lonesome salt marshes of Norfolk, England, an elderly, weatherworn woman endlessly sweeps the ever present dust outside her solitary caravan. Day in and day out without rest in the harsh winds of time, she sweeps and sweeps while her dreams of release go unfulfilled. Her efforts are seemingly rewarded when two impeccably attired Lotharios appear at her door offering a thrilling regress to the days of her youth. Or are they?
