Follow the world's toughest mountain bike race, traversing over 2700 miles along the Continental Divide in the Rockies. Three disparate characters set out on the journey from Banff, Canada to a dusty crossing on the Mexican border: Mike is 40, a family man using this challenge to chart a new course in life; Matthew is a leader in extreme endurance racing who's competing for his fifth time; Mary is the first female rider ever in the race. Over the course of a few weeks they must pedal 200,000-plus vertical feet over the Rocky Mountains - equivalent to ascending Mount Everest from sea level seven times. Physical strain, intense mental stress, and treacherous weather are their challenges, but the greatest challenges are always within.
